The Hosteller Expands Vagamon's Stay Options with New 86-Bed Hilltop Property

VAGAMON: The accommodation sector in Vagamon has received a boost with the launch of The Hosteller BAM Vagamon, a hilltop property set amid the region's tea plantations and scenic mountain landscape.

Launched in March 2026, the property offers 86 beds across dormitories, private rooms and cottages, providing a combination of shared and private accommodation for different categories of travellers. The property also features an infinity pool and an in-house café.

Stargazing cottages add a distinctive feature

One of the key attractions of BAM Vagamon is its premium stargazing cottages, which feature glass-sloped roofs designed to allow guests to view the night sky directly from their beds.

The property also offers premium and superior cottages with balcony bathtubs overlooking the surrounding tea plantations. Other facilities include indoor games, common areas, Wi-Fi, parking, bonfire facilities and pet-friendly accommodation in selected private rooms.

Designed for younger and experience-focused travellers

The Hosteller has positioned BAM Vagamon as a stay for backpackers, couples, motorcycle riders and group travellers looking for an experience-oriented hill holiday. The company said the property was developed in response to growing interest in lesser-known hill destinations in South India.

The hilltop location, surrounded by tea plantations and offering panoramic views, gives the property a different accommodation proposition from conventional hotels and resorts in the destination.

The Hosteller's current Vagamon listing describes the property as a hilltop stay featuring misty mornings, plantation views, an infinity pool, private rooms, dormitories and three premium stargazing cottages.

Adds to Vagamon's evolving tourism infrastructure

The launch of BAM Vagamon comes as the destination continues to attract travellers interested in nature, adventure, wellness and offbeat hill-station experiences.

The addition of an 86-bed property also expands accommodation options for travellers who prefer hostel-style stays and social spaces, while the private rooms and cottages provide alternatives for couples and families.

With its combination of accommodation, recreational facilities, plantation views and stargazing experiences, BAM Vagamon adds a new segment to Vagamon's growing hospitality landscape.
